The best hand tint for That Fabled Shore depicts an iconic scene or location from a century-ago and spot color applied in a way that can almost seem whimsical. It's usually no more than 3 or 4 colors and no one seeing it would ever think it's anything other than a B&W photo. The colors are almost whimsical.
Because the period when it was most prevalent was so brief, these postcard are extremely rare. Rarer still are those hand-tinted postcards in pristine condition that depict a location or iconic scene such as I focus on within this site.
Not every postcard is a hand tint. Not every hand tint is in perfect condition. Not every hand tint in perfect condition will be part of That Fabled Shore.
