Boston Light At Dawn Night Light
Boston Light, America's first lighthouse, at dawn.
Built on Little Brewster Island, at the harbor's entrance, the light has endured wars and hurricanes, but never neglect.
It was first financed in Colonial times by a two-cent tax on every ton entering or leaving the port of Boston.
It saw the British Navy sail away in defeat and the USS Constitution sail home in victory. It's a national landmark and its accessible by boat for guided tours the the Boston Island Park system.
