Gay Head Light, Aquinnah, MA - Circa 1895. A late spring outing at the lighthouse for these well-dressed ladies include transportation via oxcart. Today, the light's future is assured thanks to a million dollar project that carefully moved the tower away from the same scenic cliffs shown here which had threatened to cause it to fall into the sea.
